Choose an authentic digital platform in California that offers quality guard card training

A security guard position can be helpful if you need some extra money or a part-time work. But in order to work as a private security guard, you must convene a number of criteria. According to the California state government, obtaining employment as a security guard requires both a license and thorough training. In order to work as a security guard, you must possess BSIS certification.  However, even before that, you must be at least 18 years old and free of any criminal histories.

If you are at least 18 years old and wish to work as a professional security guard, have a brief look at the procedure for obtaining BSIS certification.

You must first complete a brief training course that is divided into two parts:

  1. a) Power to Arrest (4 hours) – This training provides an overview of your work duties and legal considerations. The sessions, which may involve discussions, lectures, exercises, and role-playing, are taught using the Department of Consumer Affairs’ Power to Arrest Training Manual.
  2. b) Weapons of Mass Destruction (4 hours) – In this training, you’ll learn how to inspect, recognize, and report the activities that could be precursors to terrorist attacks. The course is based on the Department of Consumer Affairs’ Digital Video Disc (DVD), Student Workbook, and Facilitator Manual Weapons of Mass Destruction & Terrorism Awareness for Security Professionals course.

The FBI will run a background check when you finish the aforementioned training, and the California Department of Justice will receive your fingerprints. You may submit an application for a position as a private security guard when the truth is revealed, but you won’t be able to secure a full-time position.

You must finish an additional 32 hours of training if you want to work as a full-time private security guard. 16 hours of training must be completed within 30 days of receiving approval for a guard card, and another 16 hours must be completed within six months of that approval.

So if you’re looking for a digital platform that offers the authentic guard card training, ACS is your one-stop shop. To guarantee that applicants meet state standards, ACS exclusively offers BSIS-approved education and training.  The best thing about ACS is that it only uses business professionals to conduct training. Because of this, all training sessions are presented simply to make them easier for candidates to understand.

I have slow internet and/or frequent connection drops.
To fix this, just get a little closer. If the router is located in a different room, try going into the room where the router is located and see if that fixes the issue. If this is a consistent issue, try to position your router higher (up on a shelf), away from other devices, which can interfere with it, and in a central location in your home.
